Delhi NCR summers are hard on a car's interior, and most of the damage is avoidable with a few basics done right.
Solar film is the biggest single upgrade for heat. A good film (3M, Llumar and similar, from Rs 4,000) cuts cabin heat noticeably and protects the dashboard and seats from sun damage over the years, not just the glare you feel on day one. Make sure whatever film you pick meets the current visibility rules for your state. We will guide you to the right shade, not just the darkest one.
Dust and grit get ground into carpet fibres in hot weather, and a good 7D or rubber mat that actually follows your floor shape (not a generic rectangle) keeps that mess off the original carpet, which makes resale value better down the line.
Loose or exposed wiring is more likely to fail from heat expansion. A hardwired, properly routed install (not a cable dangling off the windshield) lasts years longer.
A seat cover with a crack starting at the seam, a sun film with a peeling edge, a horn that has started sounding weak, these only get worse with heat, not better. Catching them in spring is cheaper than fixing them in July.
