Start with what you want to record
Before choosing a model, decide whether you want the front view only or a second camera looking behind. Think about where the car spends its time: daily commuting, longer trips or being parked. A second camera, installation route and suitable storage can change the complete package. Ask to see the exact box contents so a lower price does not hide missing equipment.
Ask to see actual recordings
A resolution label is only one part of the decision. Ask to see sample footage from the exact model in daylight and after dark, and how clips are downloaded. If number-plate detail is a priority, say so before buying. No camera can promise readable plates in every situation, so discuss real conditions rather than a blanket claim.
Separate normal recording from parking mode
Ask when the camera receives power and what it does after the ignition is switched off. Parking recording may need additional equipment and an appropriate power arrangement. Discuss compatibility, low-voltage protection and how often you drive. Do not assume every camera sold with a USB lead includes a hardwire kit or parking setup.
Confirm the storage and phone setup
Check the memory-card requirements in the model instructions and whether a suitable card is part of the quote. Ask how looping recordings, event clips and card warnings are handled. Set the date, time and phone connection before leaving. Make sure you can retrieve a clip yourself instead of relying only on a successful installation demonstration.
Check the finished cable route
Look at the camera position from the driver seat and discuss the cable route around the trim before work. Ask the fitter to account for the vehicle equipment and to explain any added components. For a rear camera, check the tailgate area as well as the front dashboard. Keep the invoice and the exact camera model details.
Request a complete fitted quote
At Madhuban Motors, dashcam options start at ₹2,000 with fitting included. That is a starting point, not the price of every dual-camera or parking-mode package. Send your car model, year, preferred coverage and any existing camera details. Ask for the camera, storage, wiring equipment and final fitting scope to be listed before arranging the visit.
