They are different kinds of work
PPF means paint protection film, a separate layer applied over the agreed panels. Ceramic coating is a surface treatment with its own preparation and aftercare. Start with the concern you want to address, rather than buying whichever package has the strongest name. Tell the shop about everyday use, parking, cleaning and what bothers you about the current paint.
Compare coverage before comparing prices
For film, ask exactly which panels are included. Front-area coverage and full-body work are different scopes. Clarify whether mirrors, edges or other high-contact areas are part of the proposal. For coating, ask which surfaces are treated and what preparation is included. A quotation with a clear scope is easier to compare than a single figure next to a package name.
Talk about existing paint condition
Share photos and mention repainting, previous film, existing coatings, chips or visible scratches. Neither a film name nor a coating label is a substitute for deciding what happens to existing defects. Ask whether further preparation is needed and what result is realistic for your paint before approving the work. A surface inspection may be needed for the final quote.
Ask for exact product details
Write down the film or coating product being proposed, not just the brand name. Ask for the relevant manufacturer information and written warranty terms where offered. Check what the warranty actually covers and what maintenance conditions apply. Do not treat a promised number of layers, a hardness label or a long warranty headline as a complete description of the job.
Agree the handover and aftercare
Ask when the car can be used and washed, which aftercare applies to the chosen product and what to do if an edge or finish needs attention. At collection, inspect the agreed panels under useful light and confirm the invoice records the scope. Continue normal care according to the product instructions; neither treatment means you can stop washing or looking after the car.
Get two scoped quotes if you are unsure
Madhuban Motors does not publish a fixed PPF or ceramic-coating starting price because the vehicle, material, condition and preparation affect the work. Send the car model, year, photos and the panels or finish you want to discuss. Ask for film and coating to be quoted separately if you are comparing them, with fitting included in the agreed price.
