Speakers and door damping. Most people buy a bigger amplifier while the doors are still rattling. Seal the doors and an ordinary speaker sounds clean. That is what we tell people at the counter and it is what we will tell you.
Damping sheets seal the metal inside the door so it stops resonating. It is sold per sheet, from Rs 599. Front doors take two sheets, four for double damping. Without it you are paying for power you cannot hear.
An active tube has its own amplifier inside, so it is simpler and starts at Rs 3,999. A passive tube has no amplifier and needs one, but gives more control. We will recommend based on your car and budget.
